  • In the year of 2017, Rs.7886860.00 are totally allocated for development projects in the Divisional Secretariat of Yakkalamulla.

1035 Civilians are benefitted by relevant projects

  • The Model Village of the  DS Division of Yakkalamulla belongs three GN Divisions named Alla Ihala, Uduella, Rathambalaketiya.150 beneficiaries are selected from these areas who were traditional Betel farmers. Especially they are formed to a new approach of cultivation with the connection of Gampaha Mature Betel Cultivation Project not only that they were also given benefits to improve their economy by giving Betel plants and other essential capital goods like Water Pumps, Covering Nets and Kitul Pillars.
  • By the Present as they are harvesting, Pansalakanda road was concreted for their transportation and Rs.800000.00 was offered for four houses. It was successfully completed as a multi-purpose project.
  • Before starting sales promotion projects by Arunalu empowering programme, it was completed giving Mobile Carts, Jukey Machines, Covering nets, Tea plants, Cinnamon plants and saloon equipment for Tea original and re-cultivation, Cinnamon Cultivation, Tea Beds, Tailoring Industry, Retail Trade and Saloon Industry by collecting the ideal beneficiaries through field visits.
  • Every beneficiaries had been strengthened in knowledge by doing technical training programmes and attitude development programmes to improve their economical growth.
